Weekend Wrap Up

We had made plans to go apple picking on Saturday morning, but the wind and rain were too angry.  Instead, the twins cuddled up for some morning snuggles with Daddy.

After the snugglefest, we decided to make some Rainbow Cupcakes. I had seen these on Pinterest and decided to try my hand at them. Totally cute and the kids LOVED making and eating them.

By the time the kids had had their naps, the sun peeked through the clouds and, although it was still quite chilly we decided to take on a new hiking trail (the first of two new hiking trails on our Autumn Bucket List).

Chick had decided she had had enough of the "walking" business and wanted to be carried.

These boys are the cutest!

Chick and I were atop the embankment when I saw J. and Pea down below. I loved seeing this.

I was cleaning out the front closet in the foyer and Pea decided to wear my sun hat. Cutest. Ever.

Chick has so many lovies with her in bed that it's getting a little cramped for space. I usually go into her room when she's fast asleep to take a few off so that she has more room.
