Last Friday, neither of you felt like napping, so after an hour of trying to sleep, I called you both downstairs and we proceeded to make a Valentine's cake. You LOVE helping me bake and had a good time pouring and stirring. We ended up with a pretty yummy cake and you both wasted no time digging in.
On Sunday, we tried our hands at painting some pretty hearts. You both did great!
On Monday your preschool held a Valentine's Day party in which you gathered 48 Valentines from your classmates. You excitedly showed us each on of them and loved that some of them even came with fancy pencils, erasers and lollipops. Lucky babies!
While at school, you made your daddy and me some cute Valentines and you were so proud of yourselves when you gave them to us. You also made some lovely crowns to wear, though you only kept them on your heads long enough for me to snap this picture before taking them off and ripping them to shreds.
Yesterday, on the actual holiday, Gramma and Grampa came over to give you each a tin of heart cookies and two huge Smarties piggy banks filled with the chocolate candy. They love you so much.
On his way home from work your Daddy stopped to buy each of you a very special balloon because he wanted to show you how much he loves you on this special day. You were each beside yourselves with glee. You held on to those balloons all evening and then when you woke up this morning, they were the first things you grabbed while eating breakfast. Sillies.
As for me, I just gave you extra snuggles and cuddles yesterday. There isn't anything I could buy that could ever define my love for you. My love is as big as the sky.
