Wonderland!

After much deliberation and after finding an amazing deal through P@yp@l, J. and I decided to be brave and take the twins to Wonderland early last week. Though I was skeptical that there would be enough toddler rides and activities for the kids, Catherine assured me that it would be a fun day and that there would be plenty to keep the kids happy.  What really sealed the deal for us was that we knew high schools were knee deep in exams and elementary schools were still in session.  This meant that the park would be mostly free of lines and crowds.

Our day was perfect.  PERFECT.  We had such a wonderful time and Chick and Pea loved every second of being there.  Well, Pea had one rough patch when he decided that one particular ride was a little too much for him to handle, but after that things were great.  Chick, on the other hand, was thrilled to ride on every ride she could and often braved them solo.

There were many fun rides for the kids and so much for them to see and experience.  I was mostly worried about overstimulation, but that didn't seem to happen.  We took breaks in quiet areas where the kids could get out of the wagon and play as they would at home and this worked to keep them on track.

If anyone is thinking about going, use code "paypal" in the corporate sponsors section and this will give you 41% off every ticket you buy.  The deal ends at the end of this month, but you can use the tickets from now until October.  Good deal!

This is not the greatest quality of video since we were using our oldish camera, but it gives some idea of the fun we had.

  1. They are so independent! I cannot imagine my twins, esp. Burrito, going on a ride alone for a looooong time.

I've only been to Wonderland with tweens, who as you would guess avoided all of the rides that you visited. The park you saw and the park I saw might as well be two different places.

Glad you guys had such a good time.

  3. Simply adorable. We have a place like that here and Jammer loves it. Sunshine only rode the carousel last year but we are betting that she will take on them all this year.

  4. What a great day filled with so much fun, laughter and family time!! It's fun to watch their little faces light up and to see their different personalities. Both just as precious as the other, just different. Heh...Hannah will already ride rides that Bec as 12 says, 'No way!!'

Lurve your new doo!! Gorgeous on you!
