Vaccinations and Superheroes

The twins had their very last set of vaccinations (for at least 5 years, anyway) at their wellness check up yesterday. Chick cried for less than 10 seconds and Pea only whimpered a little after the first shot and barely noticed the second. The first was intramuscular and the second was just under the skin. They are troopers, for sure.

19 Month Stats (they will be 19 months old tomorrow):

Pea

Height:  31.5 inches / 80 cm

Height Percentile:  19th (he's just wee)

Weight:  27.8lbs / 12.6kg

Weight Percentile: 71st (solid as a rock, this boy)

Chick:

Height:  31.5 inches / 80 cm

Height Percentile:  36th (teeny girl)

Weight:  25lbs / 11.4kg

Weight Percentile: 57th (she eats everything and anything we give her, but never stops moving)

While Chick fared well through the night (no surprise there) Pea was a different story.  He was up with a fever and a rash and only really fell into a good sleep in the wee hours of the morning.  I think my head hit the pillow for good at 4:00am or so.  Chick was up at 7:00am, though and ready to face the day.  Sigh.

Both are feeling well this morning and were ready for their daily lessons in colours, letters, and numbers.  Superheroes are not super without education.
