Hikers

We woke to a beautiful morning sun today and a cool, crisp breeze. J. decided that we all needed a good, long hike to start the weekend off in the right direction. So, we were all fed, dressed and out the door by 8:30am and hiked at a local conservation area for an hour and a half. Our little troopers did really well, walking at least 2kms on their own before each of them was too pooped to continue. We couldn't believe the how much the kids' endurance had improved since we last hiked this very same trail. Last time, we were only able to do a quarter of the trail. This time, we finished it. J. carried Chick and I carried Pea for the last kilometer or so, which gave us an even more challenging hiking experience.
