Day One Post-Surgery

We took the patch off this morning and this is what we saw:
Photobucket

Minimal swelling, bruising and redness. Can't ask for much better than that! He is a happy camper this morning and although he's not able to fully close his eye yet, we're sure that the next couple of weeks will work the muscle enough to allow him to have better movement.  We're all breathing a little easier.

  1. Oh K!! Your little Pea is as handsome and beautiful as ever!! How precious to see him able to keep his head straight and see both beautiful eyes open so wide! He is beyond gorgeous as always! Oh those blue, blue eyes of your Chick and Pea!

Praying for continued healing and the muscles to work perfectly.

  7. Barely looks like anything happened! Burrito has had far worse than that from bumping into things.

  10. He is doing so amazing! You must be so relieved. Nothing quite like watching your child being taken away in the hospital for a procedure. Makes me squirm, just thinking about it.
