Beach Days

The summer is winding down and we thought it was high time we introduced the twins to beach life. We have a beautiful beach on Lake Ontario that is just 30 minutes from our house. We used to strap the kayaks on the Jeep and head there at least twice a week in summers past, but now that we are 'yak-less, we haven't felt the urge to go. Until today.
We were mulling over the decision to go to our local recreation center to swim in the pool or pack for the beach. When we called my brother and he said that he and his family were heading to the beach, that sealed the deal. The packing began. We stuffed coolers, toys, sunscreen, snacks, bottles, blankets, hats, towels, sippy cups, diapers, wipes, and umbrellas into the back of the Jeep and off we went. A fun day was had by all! We officially have beach babies in the house!
